PRODUCTION 2025

“Mind-Games” is a visual exploration of ego, attraction, and emotional self-sabotage, reflecting a Gen Z mindset shaped by hyper-individualism, pride, and the desire to embody “main character” energy.

The story follows two individuals navigating moments of connection that exist more vividly in their imagination than in reality. When they encounter one another, both envision the other making the first move, constructing emotional narratives that never materialise. In reality, nothing happens. They walk away, not because nothing was felt, but because neither chose vulnerability.

Through this editorial, we explore how pride and self-protection can gradually transform from armour into emotional distance, and how modern confidence and self-definition can sometimes isolate rather than liberate.
