This beauty story is inspired by Asian mythologies where gods are deeply connected to the human world, witnessing and responding to moments of love, loss, and transformation. In these traditions, pearls are said to be the tears of divine beings, resting on skin like traces of unseen emotion.

Each character embodies a different presence. The Celestial Maiden as witness, the Dragon Deity as protector, and the Sea Deity as the embodiment of emotion. This story reflects a universal truth: vulnerability is always witnessed, even when it feels invisible. You don’t need to be strong all the time; what you feel does not disappear in silence. Care exists, even when unspoken.
